UBITECH develops advanced GenAI-based Digital Assistant for ALUMIL
- Fostering Aluminum System Design and Engineering
UBITECH AiLabs has been awarded a contract by ALUMIL, one of the largest and most advanced industries in Europe in the design and production of architectural aluminum systems. The project, titled “Design, Implementation, and Commissioning of AI Chatbot Assistant,” focuses on developing an advanced digital assistant powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) to support engineers in the design and analysis of ALUMIL’s integrated aluminum systems.
This cutting-edge GenAI chatbot will assist users, including engineers, architects, and fabricators, by processing user specifications such as dimensions, sound insulation requirements, and wind pressure demands. The digital assistant will then recommend optimized solutions, complete with part numbers and material cuts (Bill of Materials). These recommendations are made possible by leveraging ALUMIL’s comprehensive product data, stored in a vector graph database for efficient knowledge retrieval and application.
Project Objectives and Benefits:
- Efficiency Gains: The AI assistant enables engineers to save time by providing quick and accurate suggestions tailored to specific needs.
- Error Reduction: Leveraging AI algorithms reduces the likelihood of errors in component selection and specification processing.
- Enhanced Service Quality: Personalized, precise solutions aligned with actual needs will improve customer service and satisfaction.
The ALUMIL Aluminum System Design & Engineering Digital Assistant, built upon UBITECH AiLabs’ advanced PYTHEA LLM-based analytics platform, incorporates GenAI-fueled analytics, a knowledge graph-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) strategy, and machine learning functionalities, making it a powerful tool for boosting business intelligence and decision-making. PYTHEA combines cutting-edge technologies with a dynamic knowledge retrieval system, ensuring rapid and informed responses to user queries.
UBITECH AiLabs’s collaboration with ALUMIL underscores both companies’ commitment to innovation, leveraging AI to streamline complex processes and enhance operational efficiency in the aluminum systems sector.
